The Brights forthcoming debut EP 'Through The Trampoline' sees the newcomers continue to develop their homespun, cabin pop sound with six tracks of uncluttered arrangements, dulcet harmonies and muted moments of contemplation. 'Through The Trampoline' is a completely DIY affair, self-recorded at an AirBnB with questionable plumbing, and mastered by Mikey Young. The band will be launching their EP at The Chippo Hotel on Fri 20th November, with support from Press Release.

A remedy for world-weary heads and lovesick hearts, Northern Beaches 4 piece The Brights write and record music that is at once sincere and disarming. The Brights is comprised of high school friends Sunny, Sam, Cooper and Dylan, whose understated approach to songwriting belies their age, all while giving a nod to their wide-ranging musical influences. Traces of Dick Diver, Silver Jews, The Clean and Bill Callahan can be heard in their DNA, filtered through the band's at times surreal, and often sardonic lyrics. Since forming in 2019, the four have found supporters in the crowd and amongst fellow bands, having played alongside the likes of Hockey Dad, Ocean Alley, These New South Whales and Crocodylus in their short time on the live circuit.
